• Our mission is to provide a quality education necessary for ALL students to be successful in life. • TFSD has more students taking dual credit courses than any other district in Idaho. • TFSD ACT scores are higher than both the state and national scores in all areas tested. • Our high schools offer nearly 60 courses where students can earn both high school and college credit. • Students can participate in over 50 different clubs and organizations. • Nearly ½ of TFSD students with disabilities are hired within the community following graduation. • Our district has been characterized as a “high-performing district” by the Idaho State Department of Education. • We provide gifted and talented programs to better serve students (4th-12th grade) who have exceptional abilities and a strong desire to learn. • We offer 6 different academies or programs (Manufacturing/Pre-Engineering, Business/Finance, Health/Medical Services, Agriculture/Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design Arts) at the secondary level allowing students to explore and/or specialize in select curriculum areas. • We are home to 1 of 4 refugee centers in Idaho. There are over 25 languages spoken in our schools and students have the opportunity to learn about cultures from all over the world.
