Run A Marathon


Run a marathon and donate!!! Yes…that’s what a TFSD alumni did…he ran 2 marathons and made donations/mile that he ran! Thank you Paul Fink for being an avid runner and helping to support our Cross Country programs! You are making a difference and keeping yourself healthy…and hopefully inspiring others to do the same! We love our Alumni!!!

Orchestra students will surely benefit from a generous $1000 donation to be used for the district Orchestra program, under the direction of Mr. Kevin Howard! The TFSDEF recently received a donation of over $21,000 to help purchase a grand piano for Canyon Ridge High School’s music program! Special thanks to this generous family who saw the need and provided CRHS with the gift of music for years to come.

The TFHS counseling office recently received a donation for a student in need of financial support to help offset the costs of tuition at CSI for a dual credit course. What a creative way to make a difference in a student’s future and encourage continued educational opportunities. The TFHS and CRHS cross country programs recently received a donation from a
former TFHS cross country member who completed the Boston Marathon, and made
a pledge to donate $114.50/mile to the district’s cross country programs.
What a creative and healthy way to make a difference in our schools. Our

The Foundation was thrilled with the results of our 2011 Year End Mailer. Morningside Elementary received $1750 designated to their building at the end of the year. Some of the money will go toward general use, some for technology and some for the Library. What fun it is to see the faces of our teachers when we present them with a check? It’s like Christmas year round!

Sawtooth Elementary School recently received a check for $7500 from a very loyal and generous donor. This money will be used for the purchase of Elmo cameras and projector needs within the school. The Foundation has been blessed to receive yearly donations from a local family to help support the needs of Sawtooth Elementary, and other areas within our district. We couldn’t do it without our wonderful patrons and our loyal friends of the Foundation. Thanks go out to those who continue to give so much to keep our district exceptional.
